A Teacher Who Writes the Books That Should Have Existed
I'm Anju ; Manitoba Certified Teacher, author of 37 children's books, and OG-certified literacy specialist. With 2 decades of classroom experience in elementary education, I've seen firsthand what happens when children are taught to read the right way — and what happens when they are not.
Through GuruCool , I publish Science of Reading-aligned books and resources used by teachers and families around the world. My 300+ TPT resources cover phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, and structured literacy all built for real classrooms.
I hold an M.Sc., B.Sc., B.Ed., and PBDE, and I am a certified Orton-Gillingham teacher one of the most rigorous, evidence-based structured literacy certifications in the world.
